video cinematic And safe Flying

Map showing fly spots and flight info in Saskatchewan, focusing on Regina.

Check apps to see if your allowed to fly on that site. Do Safety Checks upwind of drone

If something were to happen drone would be blown away from you

Check Safety for people and Birds on site. Fly upwind of drone with winds 15mph or less

Because a drone has a higher wind resistance doesn't mean you should fly

Fly in your comfort zone depending on your experience.. I can fly up to

35 kph safely

Drone check battery info voltage and temp . check calibration for saying normal check RTH

MIni series and newer Neos and newer same procedure

I check Propellers

Check for nicks and Give them a check to make dure they are secured

Fire up propellers let them spin for 5 seconds. Propellers pitch should all sound the same.

Take off until  height is 2 feet. Hover for 5 seconds or so until it says home point updated.

within 10 seconds watch drone for drifting with 26 km wind. Drone will drift more at higher altitude

Go fly When I fly for functions I fly at less than 20 kmph with propeller guards downwind of subject

I Use Rth lots of reasons

forgot which way drone was facing even though I can still see the drone.

A lot of cheaper drones don't have it. Optimal  RTH the drone comes back to you the way you went out.

Birds

Rather Than Panic Hit and Hold RTH button

on the right stick left will be right and right will be left when camera is facing you.

Rotated drone with left stick until camera facing into wind and drone pretty level

Then used left stick all of the way down and held it down until drone landed and propellers stopped
